Sawing
Sawing is a metal-cutting operation with a rotary or straight cutting movement. It is used for the separation of workpieces, the cutting to length of rod and profile material, for cutting out openings in plates and for cutting grooves and slots in material. For this, the cutting movement and feed motion is carried out by a tool with many cutting edges.
