Mi Shear forming
The definition of shear forming describes this process as the shaping of a solid body in which the plastic state is largely obtained by shear loading. This loading can be achieved both by shifting or twisting. Shear forming differs in this from the other known processed that achieve forming mainly by rolling, hammer forming, crimping, lengthening, widening, deep-drawing or bending. Shear forming therefore comprises only a few processes and is divided into shifting and twisting.
